The PA Principals Association has developed a Professional Development Calendar for 2023 (April & May) with new professional learning offerings for members.
There is no cost associated with this session, but registration is required to have access to the Zoom webinar.
This is a great opportunity to network and share
with other principals and school leaders!
In the third and final session this year, Michael will present three topics to improve your management of time and tasks on a weekly basis.
Topics:
- The Weekly Review – The routine focuses on a reflection of your past week, a look ahead at your next three weeks and tasks that are due within the next three months (otherwise knows as “this week, three weeks, three months!”)
- Weekly Goal Review – This simple routine will have you reviewing your goals on a weekly basis. As a result, you will make progress on your goals one week at a time and record progress for you mid-year and end-of-the-year goal reviews.
- The Tickler File – This is a simple filing technique for each day of the month. We will review this filing system and set in place a weekly habit of writing positive notes.
Michael Snell serves as the Assistant Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Principals Association and recently retired from Central York School District as superintendent. He is the author of the book – Clockwork: Time-Saving Routines and Tested Strategies for Success.
