An Introduction to Restorative Practices

Restorative Practices seeks to build community while responding to challenging behavior and repairing harm through affective dialogue. The continuum of practices and practical strategies provide educators with the necessary tools to build safer and positive relationships with their students. Educators learn how to implement a range of strategies that establish accountability and support among students.

Shelly Egan, a graduate of the University of Scranton and Marywood University, is an elementary school principal with 22 years of experience within a school environment and a trainer for Restorative Practices. For the past eight years, Ms. Egan has been training educators on implementing Restorative Practices in their classroom.

This session is for members of the Pennsylvania Principals Association. To become a member, please visit us at: https://www.paprincipals.org/join-us/ or register with the email address in your member record.
